Enough about Brian Kelly

Can someone people explain to me why people have their panties all in a twist over Brian Kelly leaving UC? It seems to me that people think they are "owed" something by this man that they have had zero interaction with. 

Here is the list of people that have a valid reason to be angry with his choice to leave UC:
  1. The players
  2. The rest of the football staff
Are you, Johnny Fairweather, on that list? No... then quick your fucking bitching. Were you interested in the school's football program before week 11 of the 2008 season? I know I wasn't. The man had to think about his career, not what the fickle fans in Cincinnati think he should do. 

The long and the short of it:

If you really wanted Kelly to stay, why didn't you pony up the cash for the facilities he needs to do what he wants to do? UC is canning educational programs and teachers left and right, and as a student of UC I am glad to know they aren't going to pull millions away from academics to fund athletics. Hell, when I was at Ohio $tate, it was quite clear that the business of football was more important to the school than actually educating students. It is nice to know that there is at least one school that has some priorities in line.
